Seasonality, sustainability and the natural beauty of the garden are at the heart of our growing process and floristry practice. Elder & Wild was founded by Becky and Sam when they discovered a love for the seasonal rhythm of garden-grown flowers. With a background in Fine Art and Architecture, the joy of cultivating specialist varieties naturally flowed into sharing their passion through floral design.
We create pieces that have a ‘just-picked’ elegance; full of movement, texture and scent. Our floral designs are made exclusively using British blooms, with flowers and foliage cut directly from our Nottinghamshire cutting garden and sourced from a small number of local growers. Every stem is carefully selected from the most beautiful seasonal ingredients, making each arrangement a unique moment in time, with a real connection to the garden.
Borne from a wild tangle of brambles and elder, the cutting garden evolves each season and inspires everything we do. Our small scale allows us to focus on growing beautiful varieties that are hard to come by, adding something special to our arrangements. We purposefully make room for wildlife and are completely chemical free; committed to the continuous improvement of our methods towards higher standards of sustainability.
