Elder & Wild worked their magic to transform our micro wedding into an autumnal wonderland this October. We could not have asked for a more talented florist to arrange for our wedding. Becky was one of the first wedding suppliers we booked after I treated myself to a bouquet of her beautiful flowers one weekend. We loved that her blooms were grown locally in her Nottingham cutting garden without the use of any harmful chemicals!

We met Becky for coffee to discuss ideas and the vision of our day. We decided to go for a mixture of fully styled pieces as well as some flowers for us to arrange ourselves with plenty of foliage, texture, autumnal tones and beautiful blooms. Becky somehow created exactly what we wanted, even though we didn’t know exactly what that was at the time!
We had plans for a big wedding with all of our friends and family but then 2020 happened and we decided to go ahead with a much smaller day. Becky was so supportive throughout the constant changing of plans and remained positive that our wedding would go ahead and she would be there with our flowers on the day what ever happened! She even managed to track down some last minute white pumpkins for us. Becky was so happy to help and so passionate about her craft.
The cut flowers, bouquets and button holes were absolutely stunning and so detailed, finished with bamboo silk in colours to match the bridesmaid dresses. We were so excited to see what everything was going to look like at our wedding venue — Hazel Gap Barn. The blooms and foliage at the venue were absolutely breathtaking. The smells of the different flowers and herbs, the autumnal colours and how everything worked with the feel of the venue was just perfect. Everyone, whether at the wedding in person or not, commented on how beautiful the flowers were, especially our stunning installation on the mantle at the top of the aisle.
Thank you so much Elder & Wild for providing the most beautiful backdrop to our magical day. I only wish we could do it all over again. If you are thinking of booking Elder & Wild for your wedding, go ahead, you will not be disappointed!
